From free inspection to finished roof.

  1. Step 01

    Free inspection

We fly a drone over every elevation and photograph the damage.

  2. Step 02

    We document

Every photograph goes into your claim file.

  3. Step 03

    We file

We prepare the scope and present it to your insurer.

  4. Step 04

    We negotiate

You stop calling your insurer. We take it from there.

  5. Step 05

    Roof repaired

You choose the licensed Illinois contractor who does the work.

What this costs you.

We only get paid when you get paid. That is the whole arrangement, and it is why our job is to get the insurer to cover every bit of the damage to your home.

You pay nothing up front. Nothing for the inspection, nothing to file, nothing while we negotiate. Our fee comes out of the settlement after your insurance company pays.

Two things we'll tell you plainly: the public adjuster's fee is your obligation and is not covered by your insurance policy — that's state law, and it's written into the contract you'll sign. And your deductible is yours to pay, the same as it would be with anyone else.

Mistake 01

Paying out of pocket

Most homeowners never check what their policy covers. You could pay for work your insurer already owes you.

Mistake 02

Filing the claim yourself

Your insurer's adjuster works for your insurer. Accept a scope too early and it is hard to reopen.

A denial isn't the end. It's the first round.

  1. Rung 01

    Supplement request

We resubmit with photographic evidence of every hail strike on shingles and soft metals, and require the insurer to pay or explain each denied line item.

  2. Rung 02

    Reinspection

We request the carrier send an adjuster back out, and we're there when they do, with our documentation in hand.

  3. Rung 03

    Shingle determination

Manufacturer and lab records establishing whether the damaged shingle can be repaired or must be replaced.

  4. Rung 04

    Appraisal

When no agreement can be reached, the policy's appraisal clause brings in independent umpires. This is a last resort, and it exists in your policy whether or not you know about it.

Most homeowners stop at the first denial letter. Those four steps are the difference between a partial repair and a whole roof.

What storm damage actually looks like.

Hail bruising — asphalt shingle
Soft metal denting — gutter apron
Granule loss — south elevation

Rate decisions belong to your insurance company and depend on your policy, your history, and the type of loss. Widespread storm events are treated differently than at-fault claims. We can't promise what your carrier will do. No one honestly can. But we can tell you what we see across the claims we handle in your area.

No. No cost for the inspection, the filing, or the negotiation. Our 10% comes out of the settlement after your insurer pays.

We can still help, and it's worth calling sooner rather than later. We regularly take over claims that were denied, underpaid, or scoped for a partial repair.

Most claims settle in two to three months. It depends on your carrier, the size of the loss, and how quickly their adjuster responds.

No. We're licensed public adjusters. We handle the claim. The work is done by independent Illinois-licensed roofing contractors carrying general liability insurance. You choose who does the work.

Correct. The inspection is free, and if we don't find damage worth claiming, we'll tell you so and leave. If you do sign with us, Illinois gives you five business days to cancel with no penalty.
